Dame Julie in stage return
Screen and musical star Dame Julie Andrews performed on a British stage for the first time in 30 years as she played a one-off show at London's O2 Arena.
The performer – known for songs such as My Favourite Things and The Sound Of Music – received a standing ovation from thrilled fans as she walked on stage on Saturday night.
It was thought she would never sing again after an operation on her vocal chords in 1997. The Mary Poppins star, 74, has a stage and movie career stretching back six decades.
