A date with Hamlet...
Shakespeare’s masterpiece Hamlet is being staged in Yorkshire this summer as part of a European tour by the theatre company based at the Bard’s famous Globe theatre in London.
The production, starring Joshua McGuire as Hamlet and Jade Anouka as Ophelia, pictured left, will be at Richmond’s Georgian Theatre Royal between May 31 and June 4, before performances at Newby Hall, near Ripon, on August 2 and 3.
The Globe’s tour will also stage As You Like It in the Richmond theatre from August 30 to September 3.
