'Deeply distubing' shortage of medics for UK forces revealed

UK armed forces are operating with a "deeply disturbing" shortage of medics – up to 42pc less than required – just as the deaths of two more British soldiers took the Afghanistan death toll to 265 and showed how vital medical services were in a war zone.
