A DIGITAL agency specialising in e-commerce is on a recruiting drive after securing new clients.

Harrogate-based eibDIGITAL’s turnover in its last financial year was £2.65m and it expects this to rise by 20 per cent this year.

The new projects encompass the development of a range of UK and international websites and are across the B2B, retail and public sectors.

Between 2009 and 2012 headcount at eibDIGITAL has grown by 30 per cent to 50 and the business said this is set to rise by a further 25 per cent in the first half of 2013.

The firm said it is currently recruiting for around 20 positions including project managers, web developers, business development managers, e-commerce consultants, designers, marketing and service desk analysts.

EibDIGITAL’s ecommerce specialists are currently running client projects across more than 20 countries, from Russia to Japan, and from Australia to North America.

Nigel Welch, chief executive of the agency, said: “This is a very exciting time of growth for us. Not only are we enjoying new client wins but the sheer volume of repeat client work is testament to the exceptional team we already have in place providing robust project solutions with excellent project management and client care.”

EibDIGITAL, which was founded in the late 1990s, is the digital division of Welcom Software, a specialist software developer. It acquired eibDIGITAL in 2007.
