Dog injured in hit-and-run
A DOG was seriously injured in a hit-and-run accident in Harrogate.
The dog, a greyhound called Silver, was hit by a silver Honda CRV on Montpellier Hill. The driver of the Honda did not stop at the scene and officers are appealing to any witnesses to the incident to come forward.
Silver suffered a broken leg and a broken jaw in the collision, which happened at about 11.50pm on April 11. Anyone with information is urged to call police on 101.
