Dog rescued from river in West Yorkshire
A dog was rescued after getting stuck in a river in West Yorkshire.
Firefighters were called to Sheffield Road, at New Mill, Holmfirth, to reports of the dog being in trouble at about 7.20am today (Wednesday).
Crews were told that the river had taken the dog downstream, and left it stuck underneath a bridge.
They managed to find the dog and returned it to its owner.
