FANS of the X Factor are invited to a special event at Doncaster Dome to mark the television talent show's grand final this weekend – along with the family of one of the contestants.
Friends and family of Bessacarr's Louis Tomlinson, one of the five members of boy band One Direction, will be at the event willing the five-piece to victory over other finalists Cher Lloyd, Matt Cardle and Rebecca Ferguson.
Michael Hart, the Dome's general manager, said: "We're erecting two large TV screens in the main hall so the people of Doncaster can come out in force and support Louis and One Direction live on the X Factor this weekend.
"Michelle Keegan, from Coronation Street, will be presenting via live link-up with the studio in London so we are very excited at the prospect of being part of history and have our fingers crossed that One Direction come out on top after the final votes are cast."
Refreshments will be available and 1,800 tickets will be free at the Dome's box office from 10am on Saturday.
The same amount will be available on Sunday from 10am if the group is still in the competition.
Doors will be open from 5.30pm to 6.30pm on Saturday.
