Driver aged 81 killed in pile-up
An 81-year-old woman from Leeds has died following a three-vehicle crash in North Yorkshire.
She was driving a blue Honda Jazz on the A658 Knaresborough to Harrogate road when tragedy struck near the Thistle Hill junction at 5.45pm on Thursday.
Police said a 39-year-old man driving a white Ford Escort van escaped with minor injuries. A Harrogate woman aged 48 driving the black Toyota Corolla involved was unhurt.
