Driver in collision with a Bradford teenager is being sought by police

A driver who stopped after being in a collision with a teenager is being asked by police to come forward.

Following the collision on St Enoch’s Road, close to the junction with Wibsey roundabout at about 8.15pm on Monday August 14, the female driver did stop and ask the 14-year-old if he was okay. He said that he was but it later turned out he had suffered a broken foot.

PC Kevin Shaw, of the Safer Roads and Neighbourhood Support team, said: “The driver is unlikely to know the boy she was in collision with suffered a serious injury, so I would urge her to get in touch so we can make further enquiries."

He also appealed for any other witnesses to get in touch with West Yorkshire Police on 101, quoting log reference 2058 of 14 August.
