Drug farm gear donated

GARDENING equipment seized by police during a raid on a £1m cannabis farm has been donated to a community project.

Officers found more than 1,000 cannabis plants with a street value of £1m during a raid at an industrial unit on Holmefield Lane in Thornes, Wakefield, on July 17.

Ten men were arrested and released on police bail, pending further inquiries. Police found thousands of pounds worth of gardening supplies, which have been donated to The Able Project which trains young people in horticulture, aquaculture and environmental skills.
