Duchess in library visit

Camilla is patron of the National Literacy Trust and met around 20 primary and special schoolchildren near Belfast.

She read a story and presented books to the young people at Dundonald Library as part of a visit to Northern Ireland with the Prince of Wales. The literacy trust is a charity which aims to help more than 1,100 disadvantaged children.

The Duchess, dressed in a long green coat, was accompanied by the chief executive of Libraries Northern Ireland, Irene Knox, and met library service officials.

Charles and Camilla also visited the Mercian Regiment 2nd Battalion base near Belfast.
