Duchess’s son stirs up food event
TOM Parker Bowles has been named among the line-up of top chefs to appear at this year’s Malton Food Lovers Festival.
The Duchess of Cornwall’s son, who has carved out a successful career as a food writer, will appear beside Brian Turner, Rosemary Shrager and Andrew Pern.
The North Yorkshire market town’s annual food festival began in 2009 as a one-day event.
However, its success has seen it grow to two days for the first time this year – on May 21 and 22.
As many as 90 food and drink stalls, and celebrity chefs will give cookery demonstrations.
