Easter egg with Christian message

The Archdeacon of Bradford, David Lee, has welcomed the launch of an Easter egg which mentions Jesus on the box.

Yesterday he celebrated the launch of the Real Easter Egg, made by a Manchester company, with children at Shipley CE Primary school in Bradford, including Luqman Sultan. More than 80 million chocolate Easter eggs are sold each year in the UK but none – until now – mention the Christian understanding of Easter on the box.

The Real Easter Egg mentions Jesus on the pack, and the price includes a donation to charitable projects – buying everything from medical equipment in the UK to chickens for farmers in Africa.
