Two-year ordeal for family

Have your say

THE family of a man murdered in Spain have spoken of their frustration after waiting more than two years to have his body released for a funeral.

Charles Stabler, 64, from Hull, was killed at his holiday home in the resort of Benalmadena on the Costa Del Sol in April, 2009. A man was convicted of his murder after a trial in Spain in May, and his funeral will now be held at Hull Crematorium on Monday.

His niece Jackie Robson, 42, said: “It’s been a nightmare going through it all.”
