Elderly death crash biker is named
An elderly motorcyclist who died after his bike was involved in a collision with a tractor in a Dales village was named by police yesterday.
John Fraser, 73, from Darwen in Lancashire, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, on the A65 near Owlett Hall at Austwick at 11.30am on Wednesday. The driver of the tractor was uninjured.
