Elderly man dies in house fire
A man has died following a house fire in Leeds.
Firefighters and police were called to the house on Bawn Vale, Farnley at 3.30am today. (March 5)
A spokesman for West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said crews found a man’s body inside the building as they entered.
West Yorkshire Police said today investigations were ongoing.
It is unclear how the fire started. It is also understood the building has been left structurally unsafe as a result of the fire.
