Elderly man on mobility scooter in collision with bus
A 92 year-old man riding a mobility scooter was taken to hospital after being involved in a collision with a bus which resulted in serious injuries.
At around 10.35am on Saturday, a single decker bus was travelling along St Sepulchre Gate West towards Hexthorpe, at the same time the elderly man was driving a mobility scooter on the pavement of St Sepulchre Gate West, away from Hexthorpe.
The collision occurred between the bus and mobility scooter outside St James Church and the man was immediately taken to hospital.
South Yorkshire Police is asking witnesses to call 101 quoting incident number 368 of 19 November 2016.
