Enjoy it on video: Chinese State Circus in Yorkshire
THE Chinese State Circus rolled into Yorkshire today, for a week at Harewood near Leeds followed by an engagement at York Racecourse.
The touring act features 30 performers in a their new production, Mulan, based on the Chinese classic about a country girl who leads a warrior army to save her nation from invasion.
The title role is performed by martial arts expert Cao Jing, making her first appearance in the UK. The show also features acrobats, jugglers and traditional high wire skills.
