Comedy stars raise a laugh for Red Cross

Comedy stars are heading to Sheffield this week for the British Red Cross’s annual comedy fundraising gala.

Giggle Aid IV takes place in the Platinum Suite in Sheffield United’s football stadium on Sunday.

It brings together the comic talents of Terry Alderton, Arthur Smith, Paul Sinha and Barbara Nice – plus Sheffield’s own Anthony J Brown.

All comedians are donating their time to raise funds so the Red Cross can help people whose
lives have been devastated
by crises and disasters, in Sheffield, Yorkshire, the UK and overseas.

Max Newton, organiser, said: “This is simply our best line-up ever, with five top quality, established comedians bringing their A-game to our audience.”
