Lishman proves cut above the rest
ILKLEY’s DAVID Lishman has landed the captaincy of a team of British butchers who will go head to head against leading colleagues from around the world.
Mr Lishman, of the family-named Lishman’s Butchers, will lead Team GB in the Tri-Nations Butchery challenge in New Zealand on September 10, after being picked as one of seven team members following a national butchery contest at the International Food and Drink Exhibition in London.
The Tri-Nations is a three-way showdown between New Zealand, Australia and Great Britain, designed to promote the uptake of best practice retail butchering.
