Proceeds from the two-day event on June 5 and 8 will be shared between ABF The Soldiers’ Charity and the Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust.

Up to 30 teams of four guns and four loaders will compete for a range of prizes, with the shoot taking place over six different stands.

After the shooting there will be a champagne reception followed by a three-course lunch with wine and drinks, during which a raffle and auction will be held.

The Friday will be GWCT-themed while the Monday will have a distinct ABF feel, organisers said.

The cost of entry is £1,800 per team.

Sophie Dingwall, of the GWCT, said “it’s a real privilege for the Trust to be invited to join forces with the ABF and build upon this already very successful and established event.”
