Northern date is revealed for major beef show in 2014

Billed as the premier beef event in the UK, with a technical focus on the whole supply chain, it will be held at Hexham Mart, in Hexham, Northumberland on Thursday, May 22, 2014 with farm tours taking place the day before.

The event is moving to a new northern venue after two successful years held at the Three Counties Showground in Malvern.

Hamish McBean, chairman of the NBA, said: “It has been decided by the board of the NBA that it was time to have Beef EXPO in the North of England in 2014. We wish to build on the success of previous Beef EXPOs and have decided on Hexham Mart after giving careful consideration to the venue and its facilities.

“Hexham Mart had been previously used as a very successful venue for Beef EXPO in 2010.”
