Today:

A murky start, with extensive mist, low cloud and hill fog gradually lifting with some brighter spells developing. Turning cloudy again in the late afternoon with some outbreaks of light rain. Light winds throughout the day, and feeling mild. Maximum Temperature 10 °C.

Tonight:

Outbreaks of light rain clearing during the evening to leave a mainly dry night with variable cloud and some clear spells. Becoming breezier and rather chilly later in the night. Minimum Temperature 4 °C.

Thursday:

Breezy throughout the day with variable cloud and some sunny spells. Most eastern areas should remain dry, but some showery rain is possible at times over the Pennines. Maximum Temperature 10 °C.

Outlook for Friday to Sunday:

Friday dry and mild with light winds and some sunny spells. Saturday cloudier and breezy with occasional rain. Sunday mainly dry with variable cloud, turning wet and windy overnight.
