THE night skies across Yorkshire offered up a stunning show on Tuesday as a series of thunderstorms made their way across the county.

The picture was taken in complete darkness - all the light across Nidderdale is from the lightning taken by Stephen Mobbs, looking north-west from Felliscliffe towards Pateley Bridge.
