Yorkshire weather: Violent storms will interrupt the sunshine
THE sunny start to Yorkshire's week will soon give way to heavy and sometimes violent storms, forecasters have warned.
Today, heavy and thundery scattered showers will develop, mainly over the Pennines.
There will be more heavy showers on Thursday and Friday, with coastal areas turning murky.
Wednesday will also see cloud and rain, with temperatures struggling to reach the low teens.
