Ex-charity official held in fraud probe

A former senior official at a charity founded by the Prince of Wales has been arrested on suspicion of fraud and money laundering.

The 49-year-old man, understood to have worked at the Prince's Foundation for Integrated Health, is being held at a north London police station. A 54-year-old woman was arrested alongside him.

The move reportedly follows an investigation into 300,000 of unaccounted funds in the books of the charity, set up in 1993 by Charles.

Clarence House declined to comment. A spokeswoman said: "It is a matter for the police. Therefore we cannot comment."
