Ex-firefighter faces jail term over wounding

A FORMER firefighter from West Yorkshire who was branded a "neighbour from hell'' was told yesterday that he could be jailed again after he admitted a charge of unlawful wounding.

Brian Pemberton, 63, made the headlines five years ago when

he went on trial accused of subjecting a woman neighbour to a two-year campaign of harassment.

Pemberton, of Ridgewood Close, Baildon, near Bradford, was said to have taunted the woman with a practical joke machine that made vomiting noises after he found out she

suffered from an eating disorder.

Yesterday Pemberton appeared at Bradford Crown Court and admitted unlawfully wounding Richard Hamilton Day on October 10 last year.

The case will be heard on February 21.
