Exclusive: Your chance to own two guaranteed VIP tickets to the 2011 Leeds Festival

IT'S the Christmas present any music lover would kill for... Two guaranteed VIP tickets for the 2011 Leeds Festival – months before their general release. And they could be yours.

We are auctioning a pair of tickets granting access to VIP camping, VIP parking and the use of the guest area for the entire festival during the August bank holiday weekend.

These massively sought-after tickets are going under the hammer this week. What's more, they been donated by the festival organisers, with all the proceeds going to a wonderful cause.

Unlike our previous auctions, you can't bid for these on eBay. Instead, we are inviting bids by email, with a deadline of 5pm on Friday 17 December.

The person bidding the most wins the tickets. Simple as that!

All the money from the winning bid will go straight in the Yorkshire Post Communities in Need Appeal, which is raising funds for charities caring for vulnerable people in our region.

The appeal is looking to address the deep divide in our region. Despite Yorkshire being home to prosperous cities and beautiful villages there are also areas of serious deprivation. Even in our magnificent countryside around a quarter of children are living in hidden poverty.

That is why we have teamed up with Yorkshire Community Foundations – a network of local charities which provide funding for grassroots schemes and projects across the Yorkshire region.

They will ensure every penny donated is spent directly helping those in need – and that includes all the money raised by the sale of these Leeds Festival tickets. More about the appeal

Two tickets to the 2010 Leeds Festival would have cost a minimum of 360 plus booking fees, without any VIP or guest area access. That's if you could get them at all, as demand far outstripped supply. 2011 prices have yet to be announced but will include a VAT increase.

For this auction we are aiming to raise as much for charity as possible, so we invite you to give generously. Remember, you will be getting guaranteed tickets: no need to queue or wait for an oversubscribed website to load. And you get VIP access, too. You may not get a bargain but you will enjoy the 2011 Festival in style, in the knowledge that your ticket proceeds have gone to people who really need it.

Good luck!
