Expat Bradford City fan offers to pay for season ticket for disadvantaged family

A Bradford City fan living in the USA has offered to fund the cost of a season ticket for a family who can't afford one.

The mystery donor, known only as Lee, is originally from Bradford and follows the club from the States.

He recently contacted the Bantams' commercial department to ask if a scheme existed which would allow supporters to donate cash to cover tickets for those who cannot afford to watch games.

He has offered to pay for a parent and child season ticket and asked the club to suggest a family in need.

"I'm a Bradford lad and lifelong City fan living in the United States. I miss the club and miss being a season ticket holder terribly. I would love to help out a family if possible," he told the club.

After Bradford City posted his message on social media, other fans have come forward offering to donate money.
