Fake gardener cheated woman out of cash

Police have released an E-Fit of a man they want to question in connection with a bogus gardener who stole money from an 84-year-old woman.

The elderly woman was approached at her home in Tarn Moor Crescent, Skipton, on October 25 by a man who offered to prune the trees in her garden.

They agreed a price of several hundreds pounds for his services but after she handed over the money, the man left saying he was going to buy some petrol and never returned.
