Family held at gunpoint during late-night raid

a FAMILY of four, including two teenage girls, have been held at gunpoint during a robbery at their detached home in Alwoodley, Leeds.

The incident occurred on Saturday at about 10.25pm in Manor House Lane in the Alwoodley area of the city.

One of the victims, a 62-year-old man, was making his way out of the house he was approached by three masked men who forced him back inside.

There he was held at gunpoint with his wife, 50, and two teenage daughters, both 16.

After about 20 minutes, the raiders left in the family’s silver Volvo XC90 4x4.

Officers said the vehicle has still not been found.
