Family history fair offers free advice

ANCESTRY investigators will be given free advice to help delve into their family histories by experts at an event in North Yorkshire this month.

A Local and Family History Fair will be staged at Northallerton Town Hall when more than 30 groups from across the county will be holding displays.

Experts from organisations including the Dales Countryside Museum in Hawes and the Yorkshire Archaeological Society’s family section will talk about their work and offer help and advice.
