Fans urged to show united front for match

YORKSHIRE football fans have called for a united front ahead of a big derby match today which has been dogged by controversial policing restrictions.

Hundreds of Hull City supporters are understood to be unofficially boycotting the game at Huddersfield Town after West Yorkshire Police put tight travel controls on away fans despite little history of any animosity between the clubs.

Hull fans groups have urged supporters not to buy tickets but to go to Huddersfield and take part in a mass protest about the policing arrangements.
