Now all that is left is for the Robsinsons of Bawtry annual fashion show to raise thousands of pounds for charity,

Since 1992, the Doncaster fashion store has raised more than £285,000 for Yorkshire Cancer Research, after owner Tony Robinson started the tradition in memory of his first wife, who died from cancer.

It was continued by the Jones family when they bought the boutique in March 2009.

Owner Russell Jones said the event was expected to help them take the total raised to more than £300,000.

He said: “At £120, the tickets were the highest price they have ever been but still there was a stampede to get them.

“It is set to be a fabulous night for a fabulous cause.”

The event takes place at China Rose Bawtry on Sunday October 4 and will also raise money for several local charities.

It will include entertainment by musicians and a singer, as well as the catwalk show featuring designers Hugo Boos, Moschino Boutique, Mulberry, Michael Kors and more.
