Father pays moving tribute to crash victim
Hundreds of mourners attended the funeral for the 20-year old business student, from Birstall, Batley, who died in a crash on the M62 last week.
Her baby pink coffin arrived at St Peter’s Church in Birstall in a horse-drawn carriage, adorned with many floral tributes, including one that said simply “Bex”.

The service, led by the Rev Paul Knight, included a touching eulogy from Rebecca’s father Tim, which was read on his behalf.
“We had many discussions about life balance between partying and studying, but she always charmed her way through,” he said. “She could charm a pauper or a prince. The world has lost a beautiful, shining light.”
He thanked his daughter’s friends for their “unbelievable support”. “Her phone was a big part of her life,” he told them. “It will be buried with her. If it gives you comfort, keep in touch with her by text.”
Wilfrid Museka, 31, has been charged with causing Rebecca’s death by dangerous driving.
