Fears grow for missing mother-of-two

THE WORRIED family of a Sheffield woman who has been missing for almost a month have made an emotional appeal for information on her whereabouts.

Mother-of-two Sally Ann Webster has not been seen since Saturday November 20.

Enquiries so far have led to a possible sighting of the keen walker in Loxley Road, near the Admiral Rodney pub, walking towards Dam Flask and the Loxley Valley.

She was also possibly spotted in Penistone Road in Sheffield at about 7.45am on Friday, November 26.

South Yorkshire Police are also releasing CCTV and re-appealing for information to help trace the missing 48-year-old.

Mrs Webster, whose maiden name is Mills, has never gone missing before but has not made contact with her family and friends since she was reported missing from her home in Laird Avenue in Wadsley last month.

Chief Inspector Andy Male said: "Despite carrying out a number of enquiries and searches to try to locate Sally during the past three weeks, including an appeal in the media, Sally's disappearance remains a mystery.

"We are becoming increasingly concerned as this is out of character for her and she has not made any contact with anyone since her disappearance.

"We would urge Sally herself to make contact with us or for anyone with information to come forward to help us find her, no matter how trivial or irrelevant they think their information may be."

Mrs Webster is described as white with a pale complexion, about 5ft 2ins tall, slim and with dark brown shoulder-length hair.

She was last seen wearing light blue jeans, a black padded jacket, a thin grey cotton scarf and brown Dr Marten boots.

Anyone with information on Mrs Webster's whereabouts should call South Yorkshire Police on 0114 220 2020.
