Film festival to honour actor Hurt

John Hurt is to be honoured with the 16th Bradford International Film Festival's Lifetime Achievement Award.

The British actor will be presented with the award at the festival, where he will also take part in a live on-stage Screentalk interview at the National Media Museum and host a retrospective of his work.

A total of 10 films, representing work over almost 50 years, will play during the festival, which runs from March 18 to 28 at the museum and venues across Bradford and Yorkshire.
