Film tax break extended
The tax break applies to “culturally British” films provided about £95m of support in the year 2009/10 and boosted movies including Gnomeo & Juliet and Clash Of The Titans, as well as the final two instalments of the Harry Potter series.
Minister Ed Vaizey said: “Film tax relief is at the heart of our drive to support the production of culturally British films within a sustainable and vibrant industry.”

Hide AdJosh Berger, president of film company Warner Bros UK, said: “We welcome the Government’s expression of support for the UK film industry through its renewal of the film tax credit. In the last year alone, we’ve produced six major feature films here.”
