Fire breaks out at dis-used school building

A disused school building has been partially destroyed by fire in West Yorkshire.

The blaze broke out just before 8pm last night at the property on Westgate Hill Street in the Tong area of Bradford.

West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue say that 25 per cent of ground floor was involved in the fire.

Four fire crews from Bradford, Cleckheaton and Odsal attended along with the aerial ladder platform and used four breathing apparatus, two hose reels and two high powered fans to extinguish the blaze.
