Fire at children's activity centre

A large fire broke out at in the sports hall of a children's activity centre in West Yorkshire on Sunday morning.

Six fire pumps were needed to tackle the blaze at the Robinwood Activity Centre at Dobroyd Castle, Todmorden, West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said.

The fire in the sports hall spread to surrounding buildings.

Crews from Mytholmroyd, Todmorden and Northwest fire brigade were called out to the incident at 6.18am.

The sports hall provides indoor activities for children attending the centre and houses a climbing wall and indoor trapeze area.
