Fire crews feel the heat of Leeds car fire

New footage has emerged of fire crews tackling a double car fire in Leeds.

The incident happened on Wednesday September 30 on the corner of Victoria Park Avenue and Abbey Mount, Leeds, shortly after 9.30pm.

The YEP broke the story just minutes after the first car, believed to have been a stolen van, was set on fire.

In the moments that followed, the van rolled off its handbrake and smashed into a second car some distance down the road and set fire to it and a hedge.

Fire crews arrived within minutes and on our new video they can be seen tackling the fearsome blaze from just a few feet away.
