Fire crews rescue woman from burning home
A woman was taken to hospital after firefighters rescued her from a burning house in Barnsley.
Crews from Barnsley, Tankersley and Cudworth found the house in Osmond Place, Worsborough was well alight when they arrived at 1.50am on Monday.
Wearing breathing apparatus, they went inside and were able to bring the blaze under control using a hose reel.
They rescued the woman who was left in the hands of the ambulance service and taken to hospital.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
