Fire at Londesborough pub in Bridlington treated as suspected arson, say police

A fire which badly damaged a Yorkshire seaside pub is being treated as a suspected arson, police have said.

Dozens of firefighters tackled the blaze at the Londesborough pub in West Street, Bridlington.

The roof of the building was completely destroyed in the fire on Wednesday afternoon.

A Humberside Police spokesperson said: "The fire is being treated as arson and an investigation is underway."
