Firefighters called to crop blaze near Helmsley
A crop fire broke out in a field near Helmsley on Saturday evening
Firefighters were called to the field on the road to Rievaulx, close to pig sheds on a farm, shortly after 6.30pm.
They used beaters to put out the flames which affected standing crops in a 150m by 100 sq field.
