Firefighters evacuate 900 pigs from flooded farm
Fire crews had to be called to save 900 trapped pigs from a flood.
The owners of a piggery at Keldholme, near Pickering, called 999 for assistance with pumping water from the animals' enclosure on Wednesday afternoon.
Crews from Kirkbymoorside, Pickering and Malton all helped to save the pigs and evacuate them safely to a holding pen.
