A child who died after becoming ill while at school in Hull has been named by police.
Theodore Silvester, five, was pronounced dead at Hull Royal Infirmary on Friday.
The foundation year pupil reportedly choked to death during dinner time at Anlaby Primary School.
Police said today they are not treating the death as suspicious but a post mortem examination is yet to be carried out.
Detective Chief Inspector Tony Cockerill said: “It is heart breaking that a child has died and we are supporting the child’s family.”
A police spokesperson added: "The child's family have asked to be left to grieve in peace."
The family are now being supported by specially-trained family liaison officers.
