Flash flooding traps cars in Yorkshire market town
Cars were stranded in flood water in Malton after a sudden storm today.
The downpour earlier this evening saw Broughton Road, next to the town's sports centre, closed due to a large amount of standing water.
Several vehicles were pictured stuck in the flood water by Twitter user Alex Wainman.
