A new enterprise academy attracted 100 people to only its second meeting.
Huddersfield Town Enterprise Academy, sponsored by Chadwick Lawrence and Grant Thornton, met at the club on Tuesday.
John Chamberlin of Thornton & Ross gave a presentation on the international pharmaceutical business and described the rise of several of the company's leading brands, including Radian B, the name of which is displayed on Huddersfield's away shirt.
Sean Jarvis, Huddersfield Town's commercial director, said: "It was a superb success. The feedback has shown how useful the academy is in providing
delegates with useful business information.
"It is just another step towards cementing Huddersfield Town's position as a hub for businesses in the Kirklees area."
The next meeting is being planned for February 8.
