Four arrested as police seize more than £1m

Officers have seized more than £1m in cash and arrested four people during an operation in the Crosland Moor area of Huddersfield.

Police raided two address in the Crosland Moor area of Huddersfield as part of an intelligence-led operation into suspected money laundering.

Bundles of cash, totalling about £1.13m, were found at the addresses and four people – two men and two women – were arrested on suspicion of money laundering.

Yesterday police said all four were in custody at police stations in West Yorkshire.
