Four in court over Sherburn in Elmet attack

Four men have been charged in connection with an attack on a 27-year-old man in Sherburn in Elmet near Leeds.

All four men have been charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm in connection with the incident on 27 December 2015 and are due to appear at Leeds Magistrates’ Court today.

They are: Lee Cormack, 34, and Aaron George Pinkerton, 26, both from Sherburn in Elmet, Ross Michael Nicholson, 28, from Micklefield, Leeds and Gareth Stephen Roberts, 29, from Biggin, Leeds.

The victim remains in Hull Royal Infirmary in a critical condition.
